I was using my Black & Decker power drill, drilling into a brick wall, when it looked like there were some sparks appearing through the vents of the drill engine. There seemed to be a smell of something burning. I stopped using it immediately, let it cool down and then tried again but it won’t work. I changed the fuse, but still no good.
Is it screwed or do you think it’s reparable?!?! Any ideas??? Thanks

Uh, I bought a 24V B&D power drill at Target for $39, wondering if it’s worth the money.

If it’s a later model with a keyless chuck you just put it in reverse and hold the larger colar closest to you and pull the trigger. If it’s the older model with holes on the outside of the colar you need the “key” to loosen the grip of the chuck.

I definitely would leave for 24hrs. I have had a few and come to realize that anything less than 24hrs tend to lose power faster.

I just purchased a generic power adapter to replace the one I have lost for this drill. Though I know the voltage, how many milliamps are required and should the tip be positive or negative?
