I am wanting to buy my husband some new power tools, mainly a new cordless drill. I found this kit @ walmart.com its by Black and Decker a 133 Piece Project Kit here is the link:

I just don’t know if I should go with this one or if I should go for the 18V kit.
Plus does the voltage make a ton of difference???

Uh, I bought a 24V B&D power drill at Target for $39, wondering if it’s worth the money.

The Battery is only a part of the tool…I have looked at this new battery from B&D but the tool it’s self is still only good for occational use…I am a professional carpenter and use my tool constantly…I prefer DeWalt, which I know is owned by B&D, but the tools are made with different quality parts…A B&D cordless drill can be purchased of $40 to $60 or even a little more, and a DeWalt is many times that…I have used B&D tools and find they wear out too fast but as I stated I use them sometimes everyday for extended periods…What you have to concider is why you want the tool…If you just use it from time to time this is a good tool but as Tim Taylor would say “More Power” a professional grade tool is the best but as you know you pay for what you get…Hope this helps
