You are probably going to discover (as I did) that it is just about cheaper to buy a new outfit than buy replacement batteries. I had a Craftsman 12.4v with 2 batteries. I found out that the batteries were special order and they had a brand new 16v system on sale for about $10.00 more than the 2 batteries would have cost me.

I guess at the same places you buy them anywhere else. Try Home Depot (they have a website) or walmart or a pawn shop. If you don’t have a phone book try yellowpages.com and call the hardware stores or see if they have on online site before you go.

I bought a B&Decker cordless drill for which my dog kindly chewed the charger lead.
I have found a B&Q drill charger lead which actually fits right into my B&Decker drill!
I have turned it on for a few seconds, then 20 seconds etc and it doesn’t blow up or anything, and it actually charges the B&Decker drill up!
Is this safe, can I use it? Or am I going to kill myself?!
