Take a 14" pipe wrench and aply a counter-clcokwise motion to the spinny part between the body and the chuck. The chuck got jammed because there was an uneven pressure on it from the bit. Get yourself two pair of slip-joint pliers, commonly called channel-locks. One is the hold-back pair, the other will turn the chuck loose. If used correctly, they will be employed opposite to each other. You can also insert a slot screwdriver into the gear edges used by the tightening key, and strike with a hammer.
