Black And Decker, Is It A Good Brand?

I am wanting to buy my husband some new power tools, mainly a new cordless drill. I found this kit @ walmart.com its by Black and Decker a 133 Piece Project Kit here is the link:

I just don’t know if I should go with this one or if I should go for the 18V kit.
Plus does the voltage make a ton of difference???

    Hi, B&D is a decent brand for home use & projects. Yeah, volts make a difference, I recommend the 18v or higher. My favorite brand is RIGID for cordless tools. They are well built and can take a lot of abuse. I have a sign company and have left my tools in the rain & dropped them off 3 story buildings and still use them almost daily. I wish my wife was going to buy me new tools for Christmas

    I have a blackand decker cordless drill. Battery went bad after about 6 months.
    I went to Lowes and got Porter Cable cordless drill ,am very pleasaed with it.
    Definitely get 18 volt or higher.
